It is a light weight Screen Capture Tool.
==>Install JPeepingTomLANClient on each PC in cafe or LAB
==>Install JpeepingTomLANServer on your main monitoring PC where u sit at say cash counter of internet cafe or Main Server at some LAB
Plz do not change your decision of selecting this PC later. All you have to do is to Register with me. Activation is done on Server Machine basis.
Next After Registration & Activation, you get screenshots of each client PC saved / dumped on server
You can also choose to view live screen shots with 2 second delay pre-set or Minimise & Hide it from a Taskbar's Tray Icon at bottom right corner of your screen.
U can directly catch the person, red handed with evidence (Saved Screen Shots with date time stamps with machine IP) If Content being viewed violates that set by you in your enterprise / Zone Say Pornography, Nudity Good Bye at internet cafes.
The images are available to you at "C:\JPeepingTomLANServer\images" folder
On first run, You have to email me as attachment "REGISTER.TXT" Myself, On receiving the Cheque / DD as directed to you & followed by you,
I will send you as attachment, a file, that you have to put on server PC as "ACTIVATE.TXT"
Plz Note: Activation Key: (Sent to you): "ACTIVATE.TXT" is machine dependent (Depends on Selected Server Machine) If u change server machine then, you will have to re-register & purchase another activation key.
Piracy of this software would obviously go against my wishes That's why it's required that you register with me to start using it.
Registration is one time & After that, you can use it for years together.
And last but not the least, Registration Charges as revised AUGUST 2008 is just Rs. 200/- per Activation.
Pre-Requisites / Dependencies: Java Virtual Machine (Java Runtime Environment (JRE 1.6+)) on each Machine.
You will need the following:
Normal (Windows XP onwards) Networked PCs on LAN with fixed LAN card / Networking Device without using any type of Loopback / Generic Adapters.
As JPeepingTomLAN uses Port 330 (default but you can change it) to transfer captured Screenshots,
Firewalls should allow Network Connections over over Port 330 (default) within the PCs in your Cyber Cafe.
Install Java Virtual Machine with a Java Runtime Environment newer or similar to (JRE 1.6 onwards) on Server + all Clients.
Unzipping "JPeepingTomLAN.ZIP" gives you 3 files:
JPeepingTomLANServer.exe
JPeepingTomLANClient.exe
readme.htm
Installing Client:
Run JPeepingTomLANClient.exe on each Client Machine one by one
Quick Installation is done at: "C:\JPeepingTomLANClient"
After installation,
A configuration file: "C:\JPeepingTomLANClient\IP.txt" is opened
Change IP Address (first line) of file, set it to point to IP Address of your Cyber Cafe's main cash collection machine.
This machine is where you would sit & monitor & the captured screen shots get stored as evidence for proof of action
The Second line indicates Port Number (default 330), You may change it on every client machine.
And, if you do, then, you will have to manually change "C:\JPeepingTomLANServer\Port.txt" of Server Machine as well ...
Installing Server:
Run JPeepingTomLANServer.exe on Server Machine (Main Machine)
Quick Installation is done at: "C:\JPeepingTomLANServer"
After installation,
The self executable Java Archive file "C:\JPeepingTomLANServer\JPeepingTomLANServer.jar" is run.
On Every Run,
It reads "C:\JPeepingTomLANServer\Port.txt" which has a default value 330 on first line in file & binds to it listening for incoming Screenshot connections originating from Clients.
You can change it to any other Port available on Server.
But, if you do, then, you will have to manually change "C:\JPeepingTomLANClient\IP.txt" of every Client Machine as well ...
On First Run,
JPeepingTomLANServer will prompt you to Register this copy to Activate it.
It is necessary to Activate it, in order to use it.

The simple and hassle free Registration & Activation process is one time only.
As on August 2008, Registration & Activation charge is Rs. 200/- only.
On First Run,
JPeepingTomLANServer will prompt you to Register this copy to Activate it.
It is compulsory to Activate it, in order to use it.
To Activate your product, All you have to do is:

Your product will get activated & would start working, on placing it at: "C:\JPeepingTomLANServer\ACTIVATE.TXT"
Please Note:
You are advised to Please preserve this received file.
However, If you happen to lose it, or are unable to install it on same Server Machine, at a future date,

Repeat the above procedure of sending the newly generated "REGISTER.TXT"
If you are using the same server machine,
I will send you the activation key "ACTIVATE.TXT" free of charge.
Activation is done on a per Server Machine basis.
